Soil and climate in perfect harmony.

Nestled in the Campiña Sur of Extremadura, the Bodegas Cancho vineyards are characterized by their mild temperatures and cool red albariza soils that produce fully ripe grapes. 

The vineyards are subdivided into small plots with different physical and chemical properties that lend each one its own characteristics.

Our experience has taught us to appreciate grapes grown in different soils due to their specific virtues for extracting the maximum winemaking potential.

Our vineyards estate is planted with different varietals: Tempranillo and Grenache red grape varieties and Airén, Pedro Ximénez, Maccabeu, and Cayetana white grape varieties. To balance the Tempranillo, we also grow other varieties, such as Syrah, Pardina, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cariñena, Cinsaul or Mazuelo.
